About Atigun in Alaska
Atigun, Inc. has been a trusted partner in Alaska’s oil and gas industry for more than three decades. Founded in 1991 by Micheal O’Toole, Atigun began with one piece of industrial-strength, high-pressure water blasting equipment and quickly grew into a full-service oilfield rental company.
A Founder with Deep Alaska Roots
Micheal O’Toole has spent his life in Alaska and built his career in the state’s oilfields. After being laid off from his equipment operation job in Prudhoe Bay, he recognized a critical need for a rental company that could supply specialty oilfield equipment quickly and reliably. From that vision, Atigun was born.
With decades of firsthand experience, Micheal has cultivated longstanding relationships across Alaska’s oil and gas industry. These deep roots and strong connections provide immense value to every company that works with Atigun—helping projects move forward smoothly, ensuring trusted partnerships, and offering insight that only comes from a lifetime in the field.
Known for his resilience, innovative mindset, and unwavering support of Alaska’s oilfield operations, Micheal has built Atigun into a company that reflects his own values—reliability, integrity, and responsiveness to the evolving needs of the industry.
